I designed these cards for explicit phonics lessons, quick daily reviews and intervention groups. Each card teaches one grapheme–phoneme correspondence, in the same order it is taught, so students only review what they’ve learned.
On each card
- Front: the grapheme in NSW Foundation Style, large enough for whole-class drills
- Back: a picture, a keyword with the grapheme highlighted, and the phoneme
- A stage code and colour band: teal for Kindergarten, navy for Year 1, gold for Year 2
What’s included
- 96 grapheme cards plus a cover card with a contents list and teaching tips
- Kindergarten (36 cards), Year 1 (33 cards), Year 2 (27 cards)
- Split digraphs and alternative spellings, with a separate card for each sound a spelling makes
Specifications
- Card size: A6 (105 × 148 mm)
- Printed on [card stock / finish]
- Packed in a resealable bag
